The beginning of this podcast coincided with the launch of the WWE network. One of our earliest shows, episode 4, was a WWE Network Preview. Since that time, Mark Whitman has been open about his dissatisfaction with the current product and in the spirit of his many recent lifestyle changes he has cancelled the WWE Network. His subscription was still good through September 1 so he did get to enjoy the Summerslam main event as most of us did. But this is not just a podcast about one man’s wrestling tastes and his choice of how to spend his money. This episode is a tale of family and the moments and adventures that truly matter. It’s the story of father’s and sons and a boy becoming a man. This is one of my favorite episodes ever because Mark is one of the best story tellers I know and here, he lets folks see a side of him that is typically guarded. It makes his comments and reasoning on why he cancelled the WWE Network all the more meaningful, in my opinion. Don’t just take my word for it. Take a listen for yourself.
